Primarily aimed at lawyers with 0-10 years post-qualification experience in law. The full day workshops shall cover an overview of IPR law in India.  The sessions will include an overview of IPRs in India and key foreign jurisdictions; steps involved in filing trademark applications; forming an opinion on whether a trademark is likely to be registered or not; and the questions that a lawyer must ask his/ her client before setting out to file trademark applications on his/her behalf.  Special emphasis will be laid on the practical aspects of filing trademark application and anticipating objections from the registry. Key take-aways from the workshop will be:

Atmabodh, an NGO dedicated to the capacity building of the legal profession, promotion of human rights and conservation of cultural heritage has decided to grant 20 full/ part travel grant to lawyers under the age of 35 years who will need to travel from outside Patna to attend this workshop. Sleeper class/ Bus fares and overnight DA of up to Rs. 1000/- will be reimbursed on attending he complete workshop.
